We blend high-tech with high touch in ways that are advancing superior health care throughout the communities we serve.Title : Emergency Management Specialist SrFacility : Morton Plant Mease Hospital'sThe Emergency Management Specialist Sr responsibilities include : Providing senior-level input into leading the development and implementation of the BayCare Health System's Integrated Emergency Management programGuides the development and implementation of the BayCare Health System's Integrated Emergency Management program and leads the annual review and maintenance of BayCare Health System's Emergency Operations Plan (EOP) and Emergency Management Policies and ProceduresWork with hospital leaders upon activation of the Emergency Operations Plan to ensure proper implementation of the Hospital Incident Command System (HICS) structure and command centerEnsure the hospital command center is maintained and equipped for immediate activation when neededServe as liaison for BayCare leadership, hospital leadership and local / state / federal Agencies to coordinate response efforts for community-impacted eventsServe as liaison to County Emergency Operations Center for community response plansServe as an advisor to the Manager of Emergency Management, as a mentor to incumbents in the Emergency Management Specialist position, and as the Manager's proxy when necessaryServe as the primary on-site emergency management contact and representative for assigned hospitals within the BayCare system and conducts the annual review and maintenance of Comprehensive Emergency Management Plan (CEMP) to comply with the Joint Commission, AHCA, and other Regulatory Agency standardsPerform other duties as assigned.
