Position Summary
The Marketing & Communications Coordinator for the Career & Life Design Center is responsible for crafting and executing a comprehensive marketing strategy that amplifies the Center’s mission and student success stories.
This role involves creating compelling content, managing the Center’s social media presence, and coordinating digital and print marketing efforts to engage students, alumni, and campus partners.
The coordinator will develop and implement targeted email campaigns, oversee website content updates, and design visual materials that reflect the Center’s brand identity.
Additionally, the role requires analyzing communication metrics to optimize strategies and ensure impactful storytelling across all channels.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, business administration, or a related field.
- 2+ years of experience in program coordination, operations, marketing, or a related role.
- Strong organizational and project management skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
- Proficiency in data management, including experience with spreadsheets, databases, and reporting tools.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to engage diverse stakeholders.
- Experience in digital marketing, including social media management, email campaigns, and content creation.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, demonstrating initiative and problem-solving skills.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accuracy in data tracking and reporting.
- Experience with marketing platforms such as Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, or other content creation tools.
- Knowledge of systems like Handshake, PeopleGrove, and / or uConnect.
- Proven ability to analyze data and provide actionable insights for program improvement.
