About the job : The general practice veterinary technician manages client appointments and diagnostics for routine and sick visits.

Our GP has a high volume of dental procedures, so pre-anesthetic work ups and dental x-ray and cleaning are large portions of the daily workflow.

How you'll make a difference : Run exam room appointments / Obtain bloodwork / xrays / ultrasounds Client communication and education about illness and preventive care Providing patient care and administration of medications / vaccines Dental hygienist, dental x-ray technician, anesthetist based on experience Assisting GP Doctors as needed What you will bring : Experience working as a Credentialed Veterinary Technician preferred, but experience and PVT accepted Will consider candidates with 2+ years veterinary assistant experience or currently enrolled in veterinary program for a veterinary assistant position in the department Providing empathy, comfort, and unparalleled nursing care to all patients and their owners Positive outlook, ability to work in a highly collaborative environment, and commitment to develop long-term relationships with colleagues, clients, and community Excellent communication and organizational skills and the ability to deliver exceptional client service is expected.
