- Accurately input job completion data into our operations management system.
- Strategically plan upcoming jobs to ensure availability of necessary materials.
- Review job orders to assess printing quantities, stock requirements, color needs, and any special instructions.
- Complete all relevant documentation for job processes, including load tags, orders, data analysis, and coating records.
- Oversee feeding and printing processes to ensure they operate at designated levels and to identify any issues.
- Communicate tasks and responsibilities to the feeder operator effectively.
- Assist in cleaning ink fountains during job transitions and follow protocols for clearing the previous job.
- Maintain the press by greasing and lubricating according to manufacturing specifications and the company’s maintenance schedule.
- Uphold quality standards and procedures in color management on the printing press.
- Prepare the press for the next shift to ensure smooth operation during shift changes.
- Perform additional tasks as required.
- Essential Qualifications :
- Proficiency in mechanical concepts
- Ability to independently identify and resolve issues efficiently
- Familiarity with machinery and tools, including their construction, applications, upkeep, and repair
- Competence in operating and managing equipment or system controls
- Excellent organizational and analytical abilities
- Strong computer literacy
- Ability to maintain composure and patience during ongoing tasks or when faced with challenges
- Skill in interpreting and executing instructions provided in written, verbal, or diagrammatic formats
- Capacity to remain on feet for most of the working day
