We are seeking an organized and dedicated Administrative Assistant to provide administrative support to our client.
- Provide administrative support to the DDPC and its 30+ member council which includes Council leadership, self-advocates, family members, DD Network partners, and State agency representatives.
- Manage logistics for full Council and standing committee meetings.
- Secure outside meeting locations and make hotel arrangements for council members.
- Develop and distribute meeting materials.
- Prepare and maintain meeting minutes.
- Post necessary information about Council meetings on the DDPC’s website to ensure compliance with the Open Meetings Law.
- Review and process travel expense and payment reports using the NY Statewide Financial System.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications :
- Proven experience in administrative roles.
- Proficiency with office software, including Microsoft Office Suite.
- Knowledge of NY Statewide Financial System or the ability to quickly learn.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and prioritize effectively.
