OverviewTo plan, manage, and direct the activities between Lending Business Units and the second / third life of defense.
Provide subject matter expertise and guidance regarding exams, internal audits, and compliance reviews. Support the Business Unit throughout full lifecycle of findings and / or issues from identification to closure.
Assess NFCU's policies, procedures, practices, and governance routines, as they relate to the assigned Business UnitResponsibilitiesEnsures effective management of projects from inception through implementationInterprets and discusses information requests, findings, and related recommendations with the designated Business Unit liaisonsEffectively coordinates exam preparation activities, information requests, and provides quality assurance for examination responses and other regulatory inquiriesCoordinates with Business Units to ensure corrective actions are implemented timely to address recommendations resulting from external audits and examsContributes to a culture of collaboration by actively working across business lines, communicating knowledge and business processes to Business UnitsTracks, reports on, and follows up on corrective actions and remediation efforts identified by internal / external auditorsDirects and leads Project Teams by developing and coordinating work plans, schedules, milestones, deliverables, and trainingIdentifies and minimizes project risks or constraints that would impact project deliverablesIdentifies, communicates, and resolves branch / division / department areas of concern, or cross-organizational that may impede or impact other projects / initiativesMaintains / archives project documentationEnsures project deliverables are met in accordance with customers' expectationsSets, manages, and communicates client expectations for the projectOversees project progress to ensure project documentation and schedules are in compliance with previously agreed requirements and standardsIdentifies, escalates and / or resolves issues associated with project(s) ensuring deliverables conform to established quality and schedulesMonitors and controls risks to ensure timelines are met and project goals are attainedFacilitates project team and client meetings for the resolution of project issuesProvides project status reports to managementServes as primary point of contact for project management and related issues.
