IT Project Manager Overview :

  • The IT Project Manager is responsible for leading and delivering technology initiatives that support business objectives.
  • This role manages projects from planning through execution, ensuring timelines, budgets, and quality standards are met while coordinating with stakeholders, technical teams, and vendors.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Plan, organize, and manage IT projects from initiation through completion.
  • Define project scope, goals, deliverables, timelines, and budgets in collaboration with stakeholders.
  • Lead cross-functional teams, assigning responsibilities and tracking progress.
  • Identify and mitigate risks, issues, and dependencies to ensure project success.
  • Communicate project status, milestones, and updates to leadership and stakeholders.
  • Ensure projects align with IT standards, security policies, and organizational objectives.
  • Manage vendor relationships and oversee third-party deliverables when required.
  • Conduct post-project evaluations and capture lessons learned for continuous improvement.

    • Experience & Qualifications :

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business, or related field (or equivalent work experience).
  • 5+ years of experience managing IT or technology-related projects.
  • Strong knowledge of project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid).
  • Proven ability to manage budgets, timelines, and resources effectively.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
  • PMP, PRINCE2, or Agile / Scrum certification preferred.
  • Experience with project management tools (e.g., MS Project, JIRA, Asana, or similar)   Powered by JazzHR
