Position Summary
The Production Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the production floor. This role ensures that production targets are met while maintaining high quality standards, safety protocols, and efficient use of resources in a food & beverage manufacturing environment.
The Production Supervisor will manage and coordinate the activities of production workers, ensuring optimal productivity and adherence to company policies and procedures.
The Production Supervisor will have the following responsibilities :
- Oversee daily production activities to ensure efficient workflow and timely completion of production schedules.
- Identify areas for improvement in production processes and implement solutions to enhance efficiency, reduce waste, and optimize resource use.
- Lead, train, and mentor production staff, including scheduling and assigning tasks.
- Minimize production downtime by ensuring equipment is properly maintained and operational.
The Production Supervisor should have the following qualifications :
- Bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering, manufacturing, or a related field preferred.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a production or manufacturing environment, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
