Position Overview
We are looking for an ambitious individual that has a strong desire to develop their career by joining our team. You will actively participate in your growth within the role and department, under the guidance of the AP Manager and other Finance leaders.

Key Responsibilities (Essential Duties and Functions)
Effectively participate in day-to-day accounts payable activities, including payment runs and reconciliations.
Ensure SOX compliance by following policies and keeping updated reports and records.
Partner with GL Accounting team and senior management to assist in month end close procedures.
Effectively use company programs for entries, partial listing includes Viewpoint, Proactis, Microsoft Office and OnBase.
Perform daily to quarterly reporting per schedules. On demand reporting for AP may also be required.
Train new incoming team members as well as assist in training meetings for the AP team.
Error resolution, problem solving and reporting. This position works with internal and external customers assisting with Accounts Payable projects.
Review Concur expense reports submitted by employees for overall reasonableness and receipt attachment, ensuring that users are not in violation of Corporate T&E and PCard policies.
Develop and maintain healthy and respectful business relationships with appropriate internal and external stake holders through professionalism, responsiveness, and superior customer service.
Escalate issues in relevant forums as necessary.
Other responsibilities and duties as defined from finance.

Qualifications
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
Education / Experience
Prior experience in Accounts Payable and General Ledger
Knowledge / Skill Requirements
- Excellent organizational, communication and customer service skills
- High attention to detail
Ability to take initiative and be a self-starter with the ability to problem solve and prioritize to meet deadlines.
Able to utilize a computer for word processing, e-mail communication, and preparation of documents and presentations.
- Strong Excel Skills : Familiarity with basic math functions, IF functions, V-Lookups & Pivot Tables required.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- High standards of professionalism, integrity & confidentiality
- Desire to help others to provide clarity & understanding.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and ever-changing environment.
