Welcome home to an engaging career with a solid and trusted organization. Jordan's Furniture is looking for a Infrastructure Engineer II to join our growing Information Systems department.
In this position you will be tasked with building, configuring, and managing physical and virtual servers and storage devices in the primary and data centers and satellite locations, by applying upgrades and patches to ensure maximum runtime, integrity, and security.
This position provides Tier 2 and 3 support for the server and storage environments and participates in infrastructure improvement projects.
This hybrid position is based in Dedham, MA and requires 2 days in the office, 3 days from home.

Responsibilities
Responsibilities we trust you to perform :
- Configures, installs, maintains, and provides support for server hardware and software, and network storage.
- Monitors system availability, troubleshoots, and resolves connectivity interruptions. Measures and improves performance and scalability.
- Installs security upgrades and enhancements to protect the infrastructure from unauthorized users.
- Handles moderately complex issues and problems; possesses solid working knowledge of subject matter.
- May provide leadership, coaching, and / or mentoring to a subordinate group.
- Provides advanced-level support for the Services Team; updates tickets accordingly.
- Any other function or responsibility as assigned by the Supervisor.
Qualifications
What you bring to the table :
- 3-5 years prior experience in the same or similar capacity is required.
- Industry standard certifications are preferred but not required.
- Analytical, organizational, and leadership skills.
- Advanced computer and problem-solving skills.
- Effective written and oral communication skills.
- Must be able to read and communicate effectively in English.
