Position Description
Individuals in this position monitor and report on the data collected in the agencys Electronic Health Record system. Provides operational and consultation support to field and professional staff.
The specialist will ensure that federally mandated data for persons served who are seeking treatment through the CCBHC project is completed on a timely basis.
The data collections may require follow-up with the person served and may require that the incumbent ask the person served about particularly sensitive topics at convenient times that can include evenings and weekends.
Work is performed under the direct supervision of the Director of Outpatient.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities
- Works directly with Outpatient staff, specifically clinicians, case managers and peer support specialists, to ensure National Outcome Measures (NOMs) assessments are completed on each client in a timely manner.
- Develops spreadsheets or other methods of tracking NOMs completions.
- Works closely with IT and CCBHC Project Director and CCBHC Evaluator to ensure assessments are being completed in a timely manner.
- Provides data updates to the CCBHC team as requested.
- Communicates with Outpatient Supervisors about NOMs assessment progress.
- Follow up with the CCBHC person served to gather any data that may not have been collected prior to or at the time of service to complete mandated data collection.
This may include contacting the person served after hours or on weekends.
- Monitors and reports ongoing data entry errors to management to address with program management and clinical personnel.
- This position qualifies for short and long-term telecommuting per policy 100.027 Telecommuting Guidelines.
- Performs other reasonable and related duties as assigned.
Minimum Training and Experience
- High School diploma.
- Experience working with professionals is a plus.
- Computer experience required.
- Electronic Health Record experience preferred.
- Requires the ability to work independently and to consistently exercise discretion and independent judgment.
