Ledgent Accounting & Finance has partnered with a national full service law firm in Los Angeles, and is actively looking to add to their Accounts Payable Department! We are looking for an Accounts Payable Specialist with at least three years of consistent AP experience.

RESPONSIBILITIES :
- Perform daily tasks related to vendor invoices, including scanning invoices and entering data into the Accounts Payable software program.
- Track and follow up on the progress of invoices using the AP Workflow program.
- Validate invoices by reviewing supporting documents and approvals before processing payments.
- Conduct audits on expense reimbursements and manage them through the Expense Program.
- Handle EDI invoices for large vendors.
- Conduct audits and handle purchasing credit card transactions.
- Maintain effective communication with vendors to address payment issues and promptly investigate overdue invoices.
- Enter additional AP transactions, such as wire transfers, vendor adjustments, and manual checks.
- Send vendor bills to external parties in compliance with the Firm's client guidelines.
- Collaborate with the Billing department, secretaries, attorneys, and Office Administrator to resolve various issues related to vendor invoice payments.
- Monitor the AP vendor line for any updates or changes.
- Perform other assigned tasks as required.
REQUIREMENTS :
- 3+ years of direct AP experience
- BA in Accounting of Finance related field preferred
- Law firm experience preferred
- High volume AP processing experience preferred
