YOUR ROLE

  • Manage facilities related capital projects at North America locations.
  • Interface closely with local business unit leads to define scope of projects and determine anticipated budget allowance.
  • Issue RFP's for 3rd party consultants as required on major projects including architects, engineers, project managers and specialty consultants such as environmental experts, noise consultants, and land use experts.
  • Work closely with Purchasing and Legal for compliance with Henkel policies.
  • Provide cost estimates for capital funding including submission of Invest projects.
  • Track project budgets and schedules and report status on a regular basis.
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Keep management informed of any critical issues and / or decisions required in a timely manner.

YOUR SKILLS

  • Bachelor's degree in an engineering related field or business degree with strong experience in facilities project management.
  • 10+ years of facilities related experience is required.
  • Incumbent would benefit from having a background in engineering / construction or on the job training in managing large scale facility related projects greater than $1MM in value.
  • Incumbent should have experience in R&D laboratory operations and construction, laboratory safety, utilities and energy management, chemical safety, and general building construction.
  • Incumbent should be familiar with LEED and WELL building certification programs and preferably been involved in a at least one successful certification project.
  • Incumbent should be OSHA 30-hour construction safety certified or able to obtain within 90 days.
  • Incumbent should ensure compliance with all Henkel internal policies and standards and all necessary governmental regulations.
  • Incumbent must ensure building codes, environmental regulations and OSHA guidelines are in full compliance for all projects.

The salary for this role is $105,000.00 - $130,000.00. This is the range that we in good faith anticipate relying on when setting wages for this position.

We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range and this range. This salary range may also be modified in the future.
