Must Haves :
We are looking for someone with 5 plus years of strong technical skills / knowledge of all aspects of Oracle & PostgreSQL databases administration on Linux Platforms.
Installation, Patching, Code Deployments, Upgrades, Migrations, Backup, Restore and Recovery, High Availability configuration / setups, Troubleshooting production issues and Projects support.
ACCOUNTABILITIES
- Designs, implements, and maintains database systems.
- Evaluates new database products and versions. Certifies them for Technology company environment as required.
- Assists management of vendor relationships and the definition of vendor product feature sets
- Designs, develops, and drives global implementation of database standards, tools, and procedures.
- Designs and implements database systems to meet business requirements across multiple platforms and in compliance with design standards.
- Provides database operations support and monitors databases and backups.
- Ensures database availability, capacity, performance, security, and recoverability.
- Performs tuning, capacity planning, health checks, backups, recovery, and change management according to documented standards.
