Senior Oracle DBA Cloud Managed Services
POSITION
We are seeking a Senior Oracle DBA to join our Managed Services Practice for 6 month Contract.
As a member of this practice, you will communicate and consult with our client's business and technical personnel, blending with their IT team and working together to help identify potential problems and develop solutions.
Candidate should be highly experienced with Oracle RDBMS administration and database systems architecture. Candidate should have experience with Oracle Engineered Systems (Exadata, ODA, ZFS), along with Oracle Linux Virtualization, and at least one Cloud provider (OCI / AWS / Azure).
This position will focus on database environment expertise in both development and production support roles.
RESPONSIBILITIES
The successful person for this role will be highly experienced in Oracle RDBMS administration. They will have experience with :
High-Availability design and builds using technologies like Oracle RAC and GoldenGate
Oracle Exadata management and patching
Oracle ODA management and patching
Database, system, and application performance tuning
Replication and Cloning Design and Solutions
Database upgrades and migrations
Backup design and disaster recovery plans and execution
OLVM Architecture, Design, and Implementation
OCI Architecture, Design, and Implementation
Oracle RDBMS DBA that has the following skill sets :
A minimum of 8+ years of experience with the following is required :
8+ years in database administration using Oracle RDBMS with 2 years of Oracle Exadata experience
A team player with excellent communication skills
Ability to multi-task while maintaining high quality of deliverables
Previous experience supporting complex projects with complicated business drivers
Good writing and communication skills
A plus would be experience in also SQL Server or Open-Source database administration
A plus would be experience with managing environments in the OCI / AWS / Azure clouds
A plus would be WebLogic Server administration and management experience
