Always Best Care Charleston is now seeking caring, compassionate, pet friendly caregivers to work with us in providing exceptional in-home care to seniors, allowing them to age in place and maintain as much independence as possible, for as long as possible.
We currently serve the tri-county area, with the majority of our clients being in Charleston County. Seeking Caregivers Who :
- Are reliable, dependable, honest and caring
- Communicate effectively with clients, their families and office staff
- Have a valid driver’s license, car insurance and can drive to clients’ homes
- Are able to recognize changes in their clients and be able to alert proper personnel when necessary
- Are pet friendly!!! Major Responsibilities :
- Provide care and companionship to the agency’s clients in accordance with the care plan.
- Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADL’s) in a safe and beneficial manner.
- May be required to perform light housekeeping.
- May be required to prepare meals.
- May be required to take clients to appointments or run errands. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required :
- Must be able to function with minimal supervision.
- Must maintain a professional relationship with the client.
- Must pass a background check with satisfactory results.
- Must pass a pre-employment drug screen.
- Must possess effective communication skills. Other Requirements and Qualifications :
- Must be dependable, trustworthy and reliable
- Able to work an average of 20-40 hours per week.
- Able to bend, climb, stoop, and stand an average of 5 hours per day.
- Able to lift 20-30 pounds. Benefits :
