Inspector / Quality Assurance

Inspects garments for defects in screen-printing.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Scans garment to detect defects such as variations in color
  • Examines fabric for dropped stitches, holes, and / or stains
  • Removes spots and stains from garments
  • Adheres UPC labels & hangtags using tagging gun
  • Ability to be cross trained in other areas of the Production / DC
  • Other duties may be assigned

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Must have knowledge of production processes, quality control, and other techniques for maximizing the effective manufacture and distribution of goods.
  • Must be able to inspect materials to identify the cause of errors or other problems or defects.
  • Must be able to communicate in person to supervisors & co-workers.
  • Must have the ability to listen to and understand information and ideas.
