Job Description
This Collections Specialist will be responsible for all accounts receivable related functions. You will keep track of assigned accounts to identify outstanding debts and plan a course of action to recover outstanding payments.
The role involves heavy phone activity with customers, locating and contacting debtors regarding payment status, negotiating payoff deadlines or payment plans, handling questions or complaints, investigating and resolving discrepancies, and establishing good relationships with customers.
You will also update account status and the database regularly, and alert supervisors of customers unwilling or unable to pay outstanding amounts.
Qualifications :
- 2+ years of experience (banking, call center, or any professional services role)
- Excel - Able to work within spreadsheets
Work Environment :
This is a Monday-Friday role; hybrid schedule after training!
