Job Description :
We're on the lookout for proactive, team-oriented user experience practitioners who are ready to revolutionize product design by placing users at the center of the design process.
At the heart of our approach is empathy for our users, ensuring we deliver the finest product experiences while also crafting industry-leading business solutions.
In this role, you'll be guiding projects and designs by collaborating with designers, stakeholders, customers, and users.
Your mission : understanding and aligning everyone on business goals, research processes, and design deliverables to see projects through to completion.
You'll contribute to the research, synthesis, solutioning, and prototyping of specific projects, and potentially, a suite of products across multiple business units.
Your responsibilities extend to working with business partners to review roadmaps, determine strategy, timelines, budget, and resource needs.
This information becomes crucial for design leaders in the allocation process. Collaborating with peers, you'll define, document, and manage a repository of UX processes and strategies, ensuring seamless dissemination across the enterprise through advocacy and training.
Additionally, you'll work closely with design leaders to enhance research efforts, maintaining an up-to-date repository for various projects.
Your role includes defining standards for developing project-focused user communities, making user recruitment an integral part of our process.
At times, you may provide guidance and support to other designers, ensuring they are well-versed in industry nuances and the business needs and goals of their projects.
Job Responsibilities :
- Embrace and exemplify humility, communication, feedback, respect, and courage.
- Actively contribute to and lead the CoreLogic design community, enhancing our design practices.
- Advocate for user experience, creating whitepapers and informative documentation for CoreLogic.
- Develop and deliver UX documentation tailored for diverse audiences, including business stakeholders, designers, TPMs, and engineers.
- Collaborate with various stakeholders to determine the efficacy of solutions, ensuring CoreLogic delivers top-notch user experiences.
- Provide oversight and support to designers leading various projects.
- Gather and synthesize requirements from users, customers, product stakeholders, and engineers.
- Facilitate user research and testing, analyze findings, and develop and maintain user profiles and personas.
- Utilize wireframes, mockups, and interactive prototypes to present research, ideas, and potential solutions to stakeholders.
- Support the handoff of accurate design specifications through methods like writing epics and user stories or referencing a design system.
- Play a vital role in UX, leading projects, working on UX-specific initiatives, and creating libraries and repositories of UX assets.
- Take initiative to coach and grow other designers, leading discussions on UX / UI.
Job Qualifications :
- Bachelor's degree in Design, User Experience, Human-Computer interaction (HCI), or equivalent professional experience.
- 8+ years of experience.
- An online portfolio showcasing past work experience and relevant, user-centered design solutions.
- Mastery of UX principles, interface design, interactive technologies, and user-centered design methods and best practices.
- Mastery with user research, usability testing, and synthesizing results.
- Success in developing innovative solutions to complex user problems, processes, standards, and strategic plans related to user experience design.
- Excellent verbal and written interpersonal skills with the ability to articulate design decisions and rationale to non-design partners and peers.
- Excellent facilitation and collaboration skills, leading collaborative design sessions and decision-making across the organization.
- Strong business and technical understanding, quickly adapting to new businesses and emerging technologies.
- Ability to manage multiple projects, consistently delivering on time.
- Excellent understanding of the web design and development process, including agile / lean / XP methodologies.
- Ability to work with highly technical teams in an agile, fast-paced environment.
- Experience in the mortgage, appraisal, collateral industry is a huge plus.
