We’re currently seeking a Primary Care Nurse Practitioner to join our amazing team.

Details of the Primary Care Nurse Practitioner opening :

• Anticipated start date : ASAP
• Salary Range : $650 / day
• Anticipated duration of assignment : As Needed
• Anticipated schedule : 8 hour days

Daily Range of Responsibilities of the Primary Care Nurse Practitioner :

• Willing to accept these specialties : family medicine, internal medicine, orthopedic surgery, etc., or anyone with a background in general medicine, or experience with compensation and pension
• One-Time non-treatment C&P exams + separation health assessments
• Exams are primarily interview-based with some physical assessment : range of motion testing, muscle strength testing
• No prescribing, no treatment
• DMA certification available (can get CME credits) will need to obtain once privileged if not already certified
• Use of Goniometer required
• Familiar with Musculoskeletal, Diabetes, and Cardio required
• Proficient in METs testing, evaluating and diagnosing respiratory, cardiovascular, and neurological conditions
• Own personal laptop (NO MACs)
• Training shall be provided for all Reporting / Disability Benefits Questionnaires (DBQs)
• Reporting / DBQs must be submitted within 48 hours upon exam completion - no narrative report; end product is completion of standardized form(s)
• Record review is required in most cases
• Follow up administrative work will be required on a regular basis (addendums, medical opinions, and reading diagnostics)

Qualifications for the Primary Care Nurse Practitioner :

• Master’s degree or higher from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program
• Nationally recognized as a Nurse Practitioner
• Clinical experience directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified
• Holds a current NP and RN license in state in which employed and practices
