Mechanical Design Engineer II

Innova Solutions is immediately hiring a Mechanical Design Engineer Position type : Full-time, Contract Duration : 6 months Location : Indianapolis, IN As a Mechanical Design Engineer, you will : You will be supporting development of advanced airborne systems including podded communication link and sensor systems, airborne armament equipment, alternate mission equipment, cockpit displays, avionics, and radar systems.

The Mechanical Engineer II will support the development of new products and test hardware, as well as the improvement of existing products.

The engineer will utilize their mechanical engineering skills during the proposal and concept evaluation, product development, production, and qualification testing phases of new product design.

The engineer will create design solutions that meet product requirements using 3-D CAD modeling software and will be hands-on supporting production, integration, and testing.

The engineer will develop solutions which leverage commercial off the shelf (COTS) products paired with custom hardware.

The engineer must be capable of researching and distilling information from vendors and collating information.The engineer shall support design reviews, equipment integration, profiling, and testing.

The engineer will provide input on mechanical issues to the project team, working closely with the lead mechanical, systems, electrical, and test engineers.

The Ideal Candidate will have : Competent at one or more of Aircraft Structures Design, Ground Structures Design, Electronics Packaging, or Platform IntegrationBachelor's degree in engineering, or related Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics (STEM) degree program Qualified candidates should APPLY NOW for immediate consideration!
