Position Profile

Weaver’s Audit Investment Funds (IF) practice is looking for an Audit Manager to join their growing team. An Audit IF Manager plans, supervises and reviews multiple and more complex engagements and other client assignments.

They are effective in managing staff and engagements to meet the Firm’s metrics / Operating Plan, including client retention and staff turnover goals.

Engagements will primarily service a variety of clients within the Financial Services Industry (Alternative Investment Funds, Financial Institutions, Broker / Dealers, and others).

A Weaver Audit Investment Funds Manager is a driven team leader who provides excellent service to clients throughout all phases of the audit while developing, training and mentoring Associates and Senior Associates.

An Audit IF Manager works closely with firm leadership and plays a key role in business development and firm administration activities.

Education and Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Master’s degree is preferred
  • CPA with 5+ years of public accounting experience or its equivalent
  • Experience in Financial Services required (Alternative Investment Funds, Financial Institutions, Broker / Dealers, Real Estate or related industries)
  • Outstanding relationship management and practice development skills
  • Proven ability to manage, mentor and develop staff
  • Demonstrates independent thinking and strong decision-making skills

Annual Base Pay Range in California : $110,000 to $150,000

Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location.
