This position supports the coordination and execution of the Parenteral Drug Association (PDA)’s training courses. Responsibilities include office administrative functions as well as training course setup, execution, and closeout support.

This position reports to the Bethesda, MD, office. The work hours are 8 : 30 4 : 30 or 9 : 00 5 : 00, Monday through Friday, but may vary depending on training course schedule.

Duties and Responsibilities :

  • Respond to individuals with general training course inquiries
  • Add training course information to the PDA website
  • Communicate with and distribute materials to trainers and registrants before and after training courses
  • Schedule and monitor quality of catering for training courses
  • Restock and organize supplies
  • Perform supply inventory counts and place supply orders
  • Maintain an organized and clean workspace
  • Set up training course activities per guidance and procedures
  • Perform daily opening and closing procedures
  • Provide support to PDA Staff and trainers during training courses
  • Collect, compile, and store departmental data
  • Maintain organization of department files
  • Process invoices from vendors and expense reports from trainersEducation / Experience : Associate Degree or related work experienceCompetencies :
  • Ability to take direction and accomplish tasks efficiently, on time, and accurately
  • Ability to work independently with minimal guidance as well as within a team
  • Ability to apply sound judgment and use discretion when dealing with sensitive information
  • Excellent interpersonal, analytical, and communication (both written and oral) skills
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to travel periodically, with advance notice
  • Ability to work outside of normal business hours and on weekends prior to and during events, with advance notice
