A locally owned mid-sized company that provides quality of life improving mobility solutions is looking for a part-time HR Assistant to work closely with the HR Manager.
This new position will work from the company’s corporate office in east Louisville, KY. Excellent Excel spreadsheet skills and basic HR knowledge are required.
Duties will include initial resume reviews, new hire onboarding paperwork, generating HR reports in Excel, assisting with payroll spreadsheet, data mining and special HR project work.
Candidates must be professional, organized, motivated, and self-directed.
With multi-state employees and locations, this non-union company is built on a culture of respect and compassion. HR Assistant will work 30 hours per week with a pre-set schedule based on candidate’s preference / need, no weekend or evening hours.

Highlighted Duties :
- Review resumes and advance qualified applicants to hiring managers.
- Collect and review new hire paperwork for completeness.
- Use Excel extensively; create HR reports, complete data mining, and maintain HR spreadsheets.
- Point of contact to corporate office employees when HR Manager is traveling.
- Ensure company HR policies and procedures are followed.
- Help maintain a positive culture in line with the company’s values and business priorities.
Highlighted Requirements
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
- Previous human resources work experience.
- Experience with basic recruiting and onboarding new hires a plus.
- Excellent written, oral, listening, presentation, influence, and interpersonal skills.
- Must have exceptional time management and organizational skills.
- Motivated; self-directed professional.
