Job Title : Landscape Design & Salesperson
Pay Range : $26 to $32 per hour
Job Summary :
D.A. Alexander & Company, Inc. is seeking a skilled and motivated Landscape Design & Salesperson to join our team. The ideal candidate will create scaled landscape designs / plans and proposals to meet specific design objectives, sell landscape services to clients, and oversee the activities of landscaping crews to ensure high-quality service.
Responsibilities :
- Client Engagement : Greet clients at their home / location to determine their budget, style, and desired landscape services.
- Design Creation : Develop scaled landscape designs / plans using standard design principles.
- Proposal Preparation : Prepare detailed proposals and contracts for clients.
- Payment Processing : Receive payments or obtain credit authorization from clients.
- Work Inspection : Inspect completed work to ensure it meets specifications, standards, and contract requirements.
- Scheduling : Schedule work for crews based on work priorities, equipment availability, project demands, and weather conditions.
- Material Takeoff : Create material takeoffs from designs / plans.
- Safety and Standards Enforcement : Enforce operating procedures and work standards to promote employee safety and meet performance requirements.
- Additional Duties : Perform other related duties as assigned or requested.

Qualifications :
- Education : Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
- Experience : Preferred 3 years of related experience.
- Software Proficiency : Experience with Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word. Preferred experience with DynaScape and Horticopia software.
- Licenses : Valid State of Michigan driver’s license.
