Research & Development Packaging Scientist 1370423 (H)A leading consumer products company is seeking a Research & Development Packaging Scientist.
The successful candidate will develop new packaging from concept to launch, using technical leadership to deliver solutions that delight consumers and work closely with product and process scientists as well as marketing, sales, supply chain, and regulatory.
The ideal candidate has five or more years of experience leading the execution of packaging solutions to market, including development from idea to launch on at least several projects.

- Drive innovation and own the sustainability roadmap for packaging, driving executional progress against our goals, and will be responsible for placing strategic technical bets / recommendations in the areas of new materials, suppliers, and processes.
- Refine and implement a multi-year sustainability plan that meets the goals.* Package development lead for projects to ensure technical rigor and deliver against project deliverables.
- Design and execute technical testing to converge on and validate package design and performance, including developing new test methods with support when necessary.
- Use the established processes to deliver projects and identify potential improvements.* Create consumer and customer-facing specifications and processing standards.
- Lead risk assessment and mitigation planning.* Apply fundamental technical and packaging knowledge.* Collaborate with internal / external experts.
Research & Development Packaging Scientist Packaging Scientist Qualifications :
- 5+ years of experience leading the execution of packaging solutions to market, including development from idea to launch on at least several projects.
- Bachelor's degree in Packaging, Materials Science, or Mechanical Engineering or equivalent number of years of relevant industry experience.
- Project planning skills.* Ability to work independently and implement multiple projects in a timely manner.Research & Development Packaging Scientist Shift :
- Monday to Friday from 08 : 00 AM to 05 : 00 PM.
