U.S Payments, LLC is looking to hire an on-site IT Specialist to join our growing IT team. U.S Payments, LLC is a third-party billing company using payment solutions including kiosk, phone, and online payments.

We are seeking an individual with a wide skillset and knowledge in the information technology sector.

In this role you join our current IT team. Responsibilities can include, but are not limited to :

Responsibilities :

  • Managing the deployment, monitoring, and patching, of IT systems, including server operating systems, hardware, software, and infrastructure (On prem and cloud)
  • Maintain, monitor, and use a suite of IT software for the purpose of Anti-virus, Log Management, System backups, Patching and File Integrity Monitoring.
  • Provisioning, configuring, and monitoring cloud resources, such as virtual machines, storage, databases, networks, and firewalls
  • Implementing and enforcing security policies and best practices for cloud environments
  • Provide quick and efficient execution of cloud projects, ensuring alignment with best practices and organizational objectives
  • Answer inbound technical support calls and emails for internal and external clients and customers.
  • Continuous monitoring of various alerts pertaining to security and / or availability of services.
  • Afterhours email / phone monitoring to watch for alerts / issues and respond within a reasonable timeframe.
  • Perform duties related to various compliance mandates (IE, PCI, SSAE-18, etc.).
  • Assists in the documentation of the network, applications, and resources on the network.
  • Stay updated with the latest technologies and trends, continually improving processes and systems

Qualifications :

  • 3+ years in the IT industry with at least two of them being hands on in the cloud space.
  • Proficient in cloud computing concepts and architectures, such as IaaS, PaaS, SaaS, hybrid cloud, VM deployment, etc.
  • Familiar with cloud services and features offered by Azure such as (Azure Active Directory, Azure Log Analytics, Azure Container Instances, Virtual machines, Azure SQL Databases and more.)
  • Strong experience in cloud architecture, infrastructure design, and deployment including experience with Azure
  • Knowledgeable in cloud security principles and practices, such as encryption, authentication, authorization, firewall, VPN, etc.
  • Experience with WAN / LAN, Switches, routers, firewalls, and other network infrastructure.
  • Experience in configuring and maintaining of applications such as Active Directory, DHCP, DNS, IIS, SQL, MySQL.
  • Excellent Communication skills (written and verbal language skills)
  • Independent self-starter with strong organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills, with the ability to build lasting team relationships with supervisors and coworkers.
  • Work flexible hours, including weekends and evenings, when needed.
  • Salary adjustments may be considered based on experience.
