Job Duties
Plan, build, and coordinate game developer communications strategy that puts creators first, promotes the Xbox ecosystem, and welcomes creators to our developer platforms.
Partner with communication leads to execute promotional plans that attract external and internal independent developers to build games for Xbox.
Lead PR for Xbox Game Studios Game Camp and other programs for facilitating diverse voices in game development. Support communication teams and PR professionals to spearhead programs and events in their regions.
5-10% domestic travel required. Telecommuting permitted 100% from any location in the U.S.
Minimum Requirements
- Education : Bachelor's or foreign equivalent degree in Communications, Marketing, or a related field.
- Experience : One year of experience in planning, building, and coordinating communication strategy.
- Specific skills : Experience must include one year of experience in each of the following :

Pay Range and Benefits Information
The offered base pay range for this specific position (M061353182), based in Redmond, WA (but telecommuting permitted 100% from any location in the U.S.), is $98,610 to $128,610.
Microsoft has different base pay ranges for different work locations within the United States, which allows us to pay employees competitively and consistently in different geographic markets.
Individual base pay depends on various factors, in addition to primary work location, such as complexity and responsibility of role, job duties / requirements, and relevant experience and skills.
Base pay ranges are reviewed and typically updated each year. Offers are made within the base pay range applicable at the time.
At Microsoft certain roles are eligible for additional rewards, including merit increases, annual bonus, and stock. These awards are allocated based on individual performance.
In addition, certain roles also have the opportunity to earn sales incentives based on revenue or utilization, depending on the terms of the plan and the employee's role.
