Mead & Hunt, a nationally recognized professional services consulting firm, has an opportunity for an Aviation Construction Inspector in Minneapolis, MN.

Responsibilities :
- Assisting field team with implementation and observation of aviation construction projects.
- Various documentation and reporting for transportation related projects.
- Field testing of construction materials and field measurements of various construction items.
- Assist surveyors as needed.
- Travel to job sites will be required.
Minimum Requirements :
- At least 5 years of construction experience.
- Associate's degree or higher in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or Transportation.
- Experience with interpreting plans and specifications for transportation related projects.
- Experience in construction observation and documentation.
Desirable Qualifications :
- Experience on aviation site development.
- ASTM standard construction testing procedure experience.
- Experience with grade measuring.
- Experience working with State DOT and / or federal agencies such as FAA.
- DOT Certifications.
