Duties, Responsibilities & Other

KCI Technologies is hiring motivated and detail-oriented Entry-Level Engineer-in-Training (EIT) to join our dynamic team.

The successful candidate will work under the supervision of experienced engineers and project managers, gaining hands-on experience in various aspects of civil, environmental, and construction engineering projects.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to :

  • Assist in the planning, design, and execution of engineering projects.
  • Conduct site visits and inspections to gather data and monitor project progress.
  • Prepare technical reports, drawings, and specifications.
  • Perform calculations and analyses to support project designs.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure project objectives are met.
  • Participate in project meetings and provide input on engineering solutions.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulations, and best practices.
  • Support the preparation of project proposals and cost estimates.

Qualifications :

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Construction Engineering, or a related field.
  • EIT certification or the ability to obtain certification within six months of hire.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in engineering software (e.g., AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Revit).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to new challenges.

Preferred Qualifications :

  • Internship or co-op experience in the civil, environmental, or construction industry.
  • Familiarity with project management principles and practices.
  • Knowledge of sustainable design and environmental regulations.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree required. Appropriate professional certification preferred.
  • Minimum of 0-2 years experience.
  • Pre-employment drug screening is a condition of employment. Background and motor vehicle checks may be required based upon company policy.
