Position Overview

We’re looking for an Automation Engineer II to bring automation solutions to our growing and modernizing company. They are responsible for meeting stringent timelines, budgets, and technical goals of engineering projects in a manufacturing environment.

Projects may involve new equipment or capital projects, new production line development, new technology introduction, or continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Ability to adapt and excel in a fast paced and frequently changing work environment based on customer requirements and production demands.
• Creative and curious
• Experience developing solutions from ideation to production
• Hands-on individual
• Experience with Allen-Bradley and Siemens PLC / HMI development
• Experience with ePlan software preferred.
• Knowledge of lean manufacturing and ergonomic principles preferred
• Familiar with industrial robot programming preferred
• Familiar with machine vision system principles preferred
• B.S degree in an Engineering discipline from an ABET accredited college or 5 years or more of professional experience in an automation engineering role
