About the Role :

Our client is seeking a qualified XRay Technologist to provide mobile XRay and EKG services at nursing homes healthcare facilities and other specialized settings.

As an XRay Technologist you will be responsible for performing and processing XRays using portable radiography equipment as well as conducting EKGs.

This role is crucial for providing diagnostic support while maintaining high levels of communication with healthcare teams and patients.

Your Mission :

Perform and process XRays using portable digital (DR) or computed (CR) radiography equipment and submit / transmit them to a Radiologist for interpretation.

• Unload and transport portable XRay equipment into various facilities to perform exams ordered by physicians.
• Conduct EKGs as needed and transmit the results to a Cardiologist for interpretation.
• Scan examrelated paperwork and billing documents daily in accordance with protocol.
• Maintain communication with dispatch management peers and clients.
• Care for and maintain the vehicle and XRay equipment to ensure efficiency and readiness.

• Technical Skills : Expertise with portable radiography equipment and diagnostic procedures.

What You Bring :

• Valid ARRT Certification (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists).
• 1 years of experience in Radiology Mammography Echocardiography (echo) or Electrocardiogram (EKG / ECG).
• Valid Regular Drivers License (DL) with a clean record.
• Uptodate COVID19 vaccination or proper exemption documentation.

Skills Required :

• Mobile Radiology : Ability to use portable XRay equipment in various locations.
• EKG Proficiency : Experience performing and interpreting electrocardiograms.
• Patient Care : Strong communication skills and professionalism when interacting with patients.
• Radiography Software : Familiarity with radiography and diagnostic imaging systems.

Certifications :

• ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) Certification Required.
• State Licensure in Radiologic Technology Required.

Limited license not accepted.

Education :

Associates or Bachelors degree in Radiologic Technology or a related field.

Completion of a stateapproved radiologic technologist program.

Work Environment & Benefits :

Competitive hourly wage : $34.00 $37.00.

$5000 SignOn Bonus.

Schedule and Shift Details :

Option 1 : Weekends Friday through Sunday 8 : 00 AM 9 : 00 PM with rotating weekends oncall and holidays.

Option 2 : Monday through Friday 11 : 00 AM 7 : 30 PM with rotating weekends oncall and holidays.

Physical Demands :

• Must be able to push / pull 50100 lbs with assistance.
• Equipment handling may involve up to 24 cycles of pushing / pulling daily depending on facility locations.
