One of the largest real estate companies in North America is looking to hire a Controller . This position has the flexibility to work from home as well as in the company’s Pompano Beach office.

Responsibilities :
- Prepare and analyze quarterly consolidated financial statements and accounting reports
- Manage the month, quarter and year-end close activities including general ledger analysis and reconciliations
- Supervise the accounting department and oversee the payroll, accounts payable and accounts receivable functions
- Assist in the budgeting, forecasting, and annual planning process
- Assure financial plans are consistent with organizational goals and objectives
- Collaborate with external auditors in the completion of the financial audits
- Work closely with other departments
- Respond to inquiries from the Executives regarding financial results and special reporting requests
Preferences :
- CPA license is preferred but not required
- Real estate or hospitality industry experience is preferred but not required
- 7+ years of corporate accounting experience
- Large ERP software experience
