Responsibilities and Duties :
- Implement individualized behavior intervention plans created by a BCBA.
- Use Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) techniques to teach skills and reduce problematic behaviors.
- Collect and record data on client behavior during therapy sessions.
- Monitor and document progress toward treatment goals.
- Provide reinforcement for positive behaviors.
- Communicate effectively with clients, parents, caregivers, and the BCBA.
- Maintain client confidentiality and follow ethical guidelines.
- Assist with the generalization of learned skills across settings and people.
Technicians typically start with a part-time caseload of about 15-20 hours per week, depending on the location, with potential to grow to full-time (40 hours weekly) as opportunities arise.

Qualifications :
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Highly organized
- High school diploma
- Willing to provide home-based therapy to children with autism
- RBT / BT experience or childcare experience
- ABA knowledge or eagerness to learn about Applied Behavior Analysis and grow as a Registered Behavior Technician
- Comfortable going inside homes
