Responsibilities

Assistant Case Manager Opportunity - Bachelor's Level

Fuller Hospital is a 109-bed licensed, private psychiatric facility located in South Attleboro, Massachusetts providing inpatient and outpatient behavioral health services to residents of Massachusetts and Rhode Island.

Inpatient units are designed to treat adults with general psychiatric or intellectual disabilities, as well as adolescents with general psychiatric issues.

Patients with co-occurring psychiatric and substance abuse disorders can be treated on most units. Fuller Hospital also provides a less intensive Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP) to patients with psychiatric and co-occurring psychiatric and substance abuse disorders.

Fuller Hospital is seeking full-time Assistant Case Manage r for our Partial Hospitalization Programs.

Under the direction of the Case Manager, Program Manager, or designee, the Assistant Case Manager will :

• Assist with a comprehensive range of social work services to a variety of patients in the partial hospital setting
• Assist Case Managers with psychosocial assessments, utilization review, and other social work related activities as assigned

Qualifications

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Social Work or Allied Health Field required. Two years of inpatient experience may be substituted for a degree.
• Hospital social worker or direct care experience preferred
• Must be proficient with written and verbal communication skills. Must have knowledge of community-based and state agencies with regard to behavioral health services
• Must possess knowledge and skills necessary to interact compassionately and appropriately with patients and their families on a regular basis.
