Position Summary
The materials planner III is responsible for the tracking and monitoring of aircraft parts, components, and supplies that are undergoing overhaul or repair at designated shops.
This role ensures that parts are processed efficiently, maintain compliance with regulatory standards, and meets quality and delivery expectations.
Essential Functions and Competency Statements
- Track the status and progress of aircraft parts at repair and overhaul facilities, ensuring adherence to scheduled timelines.
- Monitor overhaul and repair activities to ensure parts are being serviced according to manufacturer specifications and regulatory requirements.
- Serve as the primary point of contact between overhaul shops, internal team, and external stakeholders.
- Facilitate communication and coordination to address any issues or delays in the repair / overhaul process
- Review and verify that all overhaul work is performed to required quality and regulatory compliance.
- Ensure all necessary documentation, such as inspection reports and compliance certificates, is completed and filled out accurately.
- Track the movement of parts from arrival at the overhaul facilities to completion and return.
- Maintain accurate records of overhaul statuses, including work orders, inspection reports, and completion certificates.
- Collaborate with other departments such as maintenance to ensure compliance with company policies and accuracy in overhaul activities.
- Communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing.
- Ability to adapt to a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities efficiently.
- Excels at resolving complex challenges with a strategic and thoughtful approach.
- Ensures high quality and precision in task execution while working independently.
Skills and Experience
Education :
High School Diploma / GED, Associates degree in related field preferred
Experience :
- 2+ years in aircraft parts management, maintenance tracking, or a similar role within the aviation industry.
- COCO ISR Contract Experience
- Must be able to accomplish any and all duties with little or no assistance.
- Must have good command of the English language; oral and written
Certificates and Licenses :
Valid Driver’s License
Computer Skills :
Proficient in : Microsoft Office SuiteVeryon or similar Dynamics D365

Position Type and Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time, in-person office position with typical working hours of Monday through Friday, 8 : 00 a.m. to 5 : 00 p.
m. Hours and work shift may change in accordance with department and business needs. Exempt Employees must have the ability to be on-call and available, as business needs require.
Non-Exempt employees may be required to work over 40 hours per week with approval from the department manager.
Travel
Travel requirements are between 10-20%.

Work Environment
This role operates in a diverse environment that includes an office setting using standard office equipment, as well as a warehouse setting with various weather and temperature conditions.
