Overview :

The Partnerships Associate will report to the Partner Enablement Manager on the Gorgias Partnerships team and support on various projects related to partner match-making, internal enablement such as communicating cross-functionally and creating templates for go-to-market teams and campaign efforts.

The Partnerships Associate will also work on projects to support both the Chief of Staff, and the Chief of Staff, Sales & Partnerships.

This individual will learn a lot about Gorgias, ecommerce, and the Gorgias partnerships ecosystem (both technology and agency partners).

Roles & Responsibilities :

Internal communication between GTM teams such as Sales, Success, and Support via Slack

Google meets calls internally to learn more about how Gorgias teams operate and opportunity to speak with partners.

Sending emails to partners and introducing them to Gorgias merchants

Writing HubSpot templates and converting them into Macros within Gorgias

Maintaining the Gorgias partner directory for the internal teams use and coordinating with partner managers to ensure that it is up-to-date

Strategize on ways to increase referral opportunities between partnerships and Gorgias partner ecosystem

Weekly meetings to keep the Partner Enablement Manager updated on activities and projects

Updating an Asana weekly template with KPIs for the quarter / month

Ability to perform and exceed on an assigned KPI to support team goals

Candidate will be measured on the number of unique outgoing referrals in a month

Asks questions and participates in conversation when assigned tasks, and can independently find possible solutions when running into challenges or hurdles

Meeting with the Chief of Staff on projects for maintaining and organizing internal resources such as Gorgias Slack channels

Meeting with the Chief of Staff, Sales & Partnerships on projects and ad-hoc tasks. Well-versed in project management

Day-to-Day Activities :

The bulk of the Partner Associate role activities include : Email introductions between partners and merchants as requests come through via Asana (must monitor Asana board)

Creating email templates to enable internal teams to send referrals

Communicating and supporting internal teams on which partners would be the best solutions for their merchants or flagging them to the Partner Enablement Manager

Reporting on periscope dashboard metrics for referrals to ensure team is meeting targets

Updating the Partner Referral Playbook as processes evolve and change

Learning about the Gorgias Partnerships ecosystem and 2k+ Gorgias certified partners (both technology and agency partners)

Working in Google suites, Notion, and Asana on tasks for both the Chief of Staff and Chief of Staff, Sales & Partnerships

Gathering feedback from Sales, Success and Support on how we can improve the outgoing referrals process

Supporting Chief of Staff on administrative tasks related to maintaining the company Slack channels, research projects, reviewing decks in Google slides and more.

Supporting Chief of Staff, Sales & Partnerships with data clean up activities (in Google Sheets) and Sales and Partnership department administrative tasks.

If candidate is able to meet all the above expectations then they can also support on Priority Contact Outreach (PCO) initiatives should they have an interest in learning more about driving top of funnel activities for the Sales team.
