ABOUT THE JOB
MU Health Care is looking for a dynamic and dedicated pharmacy technician to join our team as a Patient Medication Liaison Transition Specialist.
In this position, you will play a crucial role assisting with the medication needs of discharging patients, including supporting our bedside delivery program.
Your role will involve coordinating discharge prescriptions, pre-screening patients for payment sources, addressing reimbursement issues efficiently, and identifying and referring eligible patients to medication assistance programs.
We are seeking a candidate who not only possesses the technical skills required for the position but also embodies a commitment to enhancing the patient experience.
Effective communication is key, as you will be fostering relationships between case management, physicians, nurses, pharmacists, and patients.
