Job Title : Hotel Restaurant General Manager
Overview :
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced individual to join our team as a Hotel Restaurant General Manager. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, excellent communication abilities, and a proven track record of success in the hospitality industry.
As the Hotel Restaurant General Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our hotel restaurant operations, ensuring exceptional guest experiences and profitability.
Key Responsibilities :
- Manage all daily operations of the hotel restaurant including food and beverage services, staffing, inventory control, and customer service
- Develop and implement strategies to increase revenue and reduce costs while maintaining high-quality standards
- Hire, train, supervise, and schedule staff members to ensure efficient operations
- Monitor employee performance, provide feedback, and take corrective actions when necessary
- Create and maintain relationships with vendors to ensure timely delivery of supplies and equipment
- Collaborate with other departments such as housekeeping and front desk to ensure smooth operations
- Develop menus, promotional activities, pricing strategies, and specials based on market trends
- Conduct regular inspections to maintain cleanliness, safety standards, and compliance with regulations
- Handle guest complaints in a professional manner and resolve any issues promptly
- Prepare reports on financial performance, budgeting goals, sales projections, expenses, etc.
- Stay updated on industry trends and make recommendations for improvements in services or processes
Qualifications :
- Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management or related field preferred
- Minimum of 5 years experience in hotel / restaurant management or related position
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop team members
- Excellent communication skills (both written & verbal)
- Able to work flexible hours including weekends & holidays
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Knowledge of Point-of-Sale systems (POS)
- Familiarity with health & safety regulations
- Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously under pressure
