Requirements :

  • Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
  • 5 years of experience in embedded systems design and development.
  • Proficiency in PCB design and layout using tools such as Altium Designer, Eagle, or similar.
  • Understanding of electrical engineering principles, including analog and digital circuit design, power electronics, and signal integrity.
  • Experience with microcontroller / microprocessor-based systems (e.g., ARM Cortex, PIC, AVR).
  • Proficiency in programming languages commonly used in embedded systems development (e.g., C, C++, Python).
  • Familiarity with communication protocols (e.g., UART, SPI, I2C, Ethernet, USB).

Summary : We are seeking a talented Senior Embedded Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in embedded systems design, with expertise in firmware development, smart home / IOT integrations, as well as PCB design and electrical engineering.

The Embedded Engineer will play a crucial role in developing and optimizing embedded systems for various applications, contributing to the design, implementation, and testing phases of projects.

Responsibilities :

  • Design and develop embedded systems solutions for specific applications or products.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define system requirements and specifications.
  • Design and layout PCBs for embedded systems, ensuring functionality, reliability, and manufacturability.
  • Conduct schematic capture, PCB layout, and routing using industry-standard tools (e.g., Altium Designer, Eagle).
  • Perform circuit design and analysis, including schematic capture, simulation, and prototyping.
  • Select appropriate components and materials for embedded systems, considering performance, cost, and availability.
  • Develop firmware / software for microcontrollers and embedded systems, including device drivers, communication protocols, and real-time operating systems.
  • Conduct integration testing and troubleshooting to ensure proper functionality and performance of embedded systems.
  • Provide technical support and guidance to other team members, including engineers and technicians.
  • Stay up to date with advancements in embedded systems technology and industry trends.

$125,000 per year annual salary.

Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.
