Requirements :
- Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
- 5 years of experience in embedded systems design and development.
- Proficiency in PCB design and layout using tools such as Altium Designer, Eagle, or similar.
- Understanding of electrical engineering principles, including analog and digital circuit design, power electronics, and signal integrity.
- Experience with microcontroller / microprocessor-based systems (e.g., ARM Cortex, PIC, AVR).
- Proficiency in programming languages commonly used in embedded systems development (e.g., C, C++, Python).
- Familiarity with communication protocols (e.g., UART, SPI, I2C, Ethernet, USB).
Summary : We are seeking a talented Senior Embedded Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in embedded systems design, with expertise in firmware development, smart home / IOT integrations, as well as PCB design and electrical engineering.
The Embedded Engineer will play a crucial role in developing and optimizing embedded systems for various applications, contributing to the design, implementation, and testing phases of projects.
Responsibilities :
- Design and develop embedded systems solutions for specific applications or products.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define system requirements and specifications.
- Design and layout PCBs for embedded systems, ensuring functionality, reliability, and manufacturability.
- Conduct schematic capture, PCB layout, and routing using industry-standard tools (e.g., Altium Designer, Eagle).
- Perform circuit design and analysis, including schematic capture, simulation, and prototyping.
- Select appropriate components and materials for embedded systems, considering performance, cost, and availability.
- Develop firmware / software for microcontrollers and embedded systems, including device drivers, communication protocols, and real-time operating systems.
- Conduct integration testing and troubleshooting to ensure proper functionality and performance of embedded systems.
- Provide technical support and guidance to other team members, including engineers and technicians.
- Stay up to date with advancements in embedded systems technology and industry trends.
$125,000 per year annual salary.
Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.
