Our client is looking for a Packaging Specialist with in-depth knowledge of packaging technology to join their team!This Specialist will work together with R&D to help develop new packaging products, as well as assist the sales team with their efforts to increase market share of these products.
Primary Job Functions : *Source new supplier for existing products*Respond to internal requests for material and concept development*Assess and ensure product compliance with global regulations, focused on Direct and Indirect Food contact guidelines*Perform in-depth analysis of technical issues with adhesive substrate compatibility in specific applications*Design and oversee extensive testing of product performance in applications *Work directly with quality assurance to evaluate and improve new opportunity testing*Journal ongoing projects for current and future referenceRequired Skills : .
- Expertise in flexible films and pressure sensitive adhesives*Able to communicate about complex topics in a simple and clear style.
- Strong verbal and written skills.*Strong critical thinking and problem solving skills under pressure.*High comfort level with engaged team problem solving.
- Detailed and data driven.*Comfort in a hands-on collaborative environment.*Bachelor's Degree preferred
