A Snapshot of Your Day
In this role, you’ll be involved in every aspect of laboratory work, from recording data to maintaining equipment. Train others in daily laboratory tasks and assist suppliers in resolving non-conformance issues.
Will be working on various tasks that follow strict guidelines like customer specs and regulations, protecting the accuracy and efficiency of tests while keeping the lab successful in the Gibsonton Florida Location.
How You’ll Make an Impact
- Recording, analyzing, interpreting data, collecting, preparing, and / or testing samples.
- Operating lab equipment and handling hazardous waste.
- Calculating and reporting test results.
- Performing quality control and calibrating equipment maintaining it in proper working order (PM).
- Receiving, marking, planning, and executing laboratory testing according to standard procedures and customer specifications.
- Organizing and storing all chemical substances according to safety instructions.
- Create, edit, format, and upload procedure documents in Document Manager.
- Other duties, special projects, and cross-training as needed.
What You Bring
- HS Diploma or GED and at least three (3) years of related experience in a trade school or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Experience or certification in material laboratory analysis of metallurgical samples will be a plus. Good critical thinking skills and good hand-eye coordination
- Applicants must be legally authorized for employment in the United States without the need for current or future employer-sponsored work authorization.
- This position will require an export license from the Department of Commerce, Bureau of Industry and Security, and / or the Department of State, Directorate of Defense Trade Controls.
Issuance of any required license is a prerequisite for this position. The candidate must be able to work with export-controlled technology in accordance with US export control law.
