Leading efforts to encourage incident reporting and investigation, you will drive initiatives to prevent future occurrences and cultivate an environment of transparency, accountability, and continuous improvement.
Job Duties & Responsibilities :
- Capture, review, and classify patient safety variances.
- Enter variance details for action analysis and trend identification.
- Report unanticipated clinical results to administration and legal.
- Work with legal and insurers to resolve incidents.
- Disclose serious events to patients / families per policy.
- Conduct root cause analysis for severe occurrences.
- Develop resolutions for complaints / claims with legal and insurers.
- Coordinate staff interviews and legal responses.
- Gather evidence related to occurrences.
- Manage reimbursement claims for lost / damaged items.
- Collaborate with supervisors to address and follow up on patient concerns.

Salary :
$55,432-$88,712, based on work history / experience
Job Qualifications :
- Bachelor's degree required.
- Preferred : Experience working directly with physicians and healthcare providers.
- Preferred : Knowledge of patient safety regulations and standards.
- Preferred : Experience with electronic health records and documentation.
