Title : Temp Accountant
Location : NYC Hybrid
Full-time Hours
Duration : Starting ASAP, Temp to perm potential for right candidate
Pay Rate : $35 / hr- $45 / hr Hourly rate is commensurate with experience and is an estimated range provided by JBC
Responsibilities :
- Handle full set of accounts and month end closing for the US
- Handle daily accounting operations consisting of accounts payable, accounts receivable and sales and bank reconciliation
- Work closely with commercial teams to support retail and wholesale operations
- Assist in management reporting with analysis
- Liaise with external auditor and follow up audit, taxation or compliance issues
- Assist in system enhancement and workflow enhancement
- Perform assigned ad-hoc reports and supporting tasks
Experience / Qualification Requirements
- Degree Holder in Accountancy or related discipline
- Qualified accountant with Audit / Retail / Multinational experience is preferred
- Minimum 5 years of relevant working experience, must have experience in retail industry
- Strong team player with proactive attitude, good interpersonal skills and analytical mind
- Able to work independently and handle multi-tasks
- QuickBooks knowledge
