Electrical Design Engineer The Role :
- Be a part of the design and implementation of large marine electrical installations, focusing on their most innovativeproduct
- Work with vessel manufacturers to provide installation guidance and vessel-specific system variants
- Utilise professional drawing package EPlan
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to integrate electrical systems into our cutting-edge marine technology solutions
- Work with an expert team providingguidance and support throughout the project lifecycle, from initial concept to final implementation, ensuring technical excellence throughout
Electrical Design Engineer The Person :
- A bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline. A master’s degree would be excellent
- Preferably possess someexperience oflarge marine electrical installations, with an understanding of the complexities and challenges in the marine sector
- Expertise in ATEX / IEC Ex rated installations is desired, with a strong focus on safety and compliance in explosive atmospheres
- Proficiency with a professional electrical drawing package is essential - EPlan is the preferred choice
- Excellent communication skills and a collaborative team player, capable of articulating complex technical concepts to a diverse team
