Howell Orthodontics is looking for a motivated, outgoing Orthodontic Dental Assistant that enjoys working with teens / pre-teens and friendly assistant to join our team! Must be able to work in a fast paced office and always maintain a great attitude and superior customer service.
JOB SUMMARY : The primary role of the orthodontic dental assistant is to provide clinical care and ensure a positive experience for our patients.
This includes welcoming the patient to the office, seating them, reading the chart, setting up for the doctor and communicating with patients to educate and motivate them throughout the treatment process.
Requirements
SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED :
- Orthodontic experience and clinical proficiency with a variety of orthodontic appliances is preferred, but not required.
- A candidate will be able to demonstrate proficiency in fitting bands and brackets, tying in arch wires and taking consistent, accurate impressions.
- Good computer skills are also required.
- The candidate must have excellent oral communication skills, strong interpersonal skills and the desire and ability to learn new skills and work well with a team.
- Bi-Lingual (Spanish / English) preferred.
