61 / hour including Master Certificationand shift differential.Monday Friday operationNight ShiftQuarterly tool allowance to grow your tool kitFull health insurance benefits on day oneLife and disability insuranceEarn up to 13 days of PTO over your first year9 paid company holidays401(k) option with company matchEducation assistanceWhat you’ll do on a typical day : Perform routine maintenance functions and adjustments on all types of class 6 through 8 diesel equipment, forklifts, and trailing equipmentAccess any of the equipment to perform necessary maintenance, including inspecting and performing work in, on or under part of the equipmentRepair or rebuild all or parts of various equipment systemsTroubleshoot and diagnose equipment and component issues and perform repairs accordinglyPerform HVAC system repairsAbide by DOT, EPA, Interstate Authority, OSHA and other rules and regulationsConduct safety inspections on equipment and prepare safety documentation as neededMaintain proficiency with equipment and technologies that enhance productivityMove trailers throughout the property, operating a hostler in all types of weatherEnter job times and parts on repair orders to track activityOperate specialized tooling and vehiclesEnsure the work area is always clean, safe, and organizedInteract with operations and shop managementDiesel Mechanics are required to : Frequently lift up to 50 lbs.
