Logistics Coordinator

Overview :

Logistics Coordinator- Fife, WA

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Logistics Coordinator to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for various logistics functions, including occasional loading and unloading of containers, processing delivery orders, interacting with drivers, scheduling freight, and other related tasks to ensure the efficient and smooth flow of our logistics operations.

Shift : MON-FRI 7 : AM - 3 : PM

Responsibilities

WHAT YOU'LL DO

• Schedule and coordinate freight movements, optimizing routes and ensuring timely deliveries and pickups.
• Process and manage delivery orders efficiently, verifying accuracy and completeness of documentation.
• Interact with drivers to coordinate arrivals, departures, and any special instructions, providing excellent communication to ensure smooth operations.
• Monitor and maintain accurate inventory records, keeping track of stock levels and reporting any discrepancies.
• Maintain organized and up-to-date records of shipments, deliveries, and other relevant logistics documentation.
• Proactively address and resolve logistics-related issues, collaborating with internal teams and external partners to ensure timely solutions.
• Ensure compliance with relevant regulations, safety standards, and company policies in all logistics activities.

Qualifications

WHAT YOU'LL NEED

• High school diploma or equivalent; additional logistics or supply chain certifications are a plus.
• Familiarity with shipping software and logistics management systems.
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Physical ability to engage in occasional loading and unloading activities.
