Job Details
Responsibilities :
1. Lead and manage all aspects of plant finance and ensure that the company's financial policies and procedures are adhered to.
2. Perform variance analysis and prepare detailed reports that could be presented to the management team.
3. Conduct financial analysis, develop and manage budgets, and forecast financial trends.
4. Implement process improvements to enhance financial visibility and decision-making across the plant.
5. Manage the ERP system to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.
6. Ensure compliance with all audit requirements and assist in the development of the annual budget.
7. Collaborate with plant management to streamline processes, improve operational efficiencies and reduce costs.
8. Provide strategic financial input and leadership on decision-making issues affecting the plant.
9. Develop and implement training for all plant personnel on critical financial concepts and procedures.
Qualifications :
1. Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field. A Master’s degree or CPA certification will be considered an advantage.
2. Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Controller or Accounting Manager, preferably within the manufacturing industry.
3. Proficient in variance analysis, financial analysis, budgeting, process improvement, and ERP system management.
4. Strong analytical skills with the ability to analyze complex financial data and design reports to facilitate decision-making.
5. Solid knowledge of financial and accounting procedures, including Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
6. Excellent strategic planning skills and able to interact with all levels of end users and technical resources.
7. Exceptional communication and leadership skills with a proven track record in managing a team.
8. Comfort dealing with ambiguity and the ability to work independently.
9. Advanced computer software skills, including writing macros in Excel and other accounting packages.
