Schedule Night shift - 4x12 hours, 18 : 45 - 07 : 15 Job Description The Registered Nurse will be responsible for providing high-quality medical surgical care to patients, primarily focusing on oncology nursing. The role requires a proactive approach in administering chemotherapy and managing various patient diagnoses while collaborating with an interdisciplinary team. Responsibilities Administer chemotherapy and biotherapy via IV, PO, or injection. Monitor and manage patients with general medical-surgical diagnoses. Provide patient education and support to patients and families regarding treatment options and care plans. Utilize isolation precautions and adhere to safety protocols in patient care. Work collaboratively with various departments including Physical Therapy, Respiratory Services, and Social Services. Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure Minimum of 2 years of medical-surgical experience, with oncology experience preferred. Certification in BLS required; ONS / ONCC chemotherapy certification preferred or willingness to obtain. Experience in IV therapy, blood product administration, and management of ports and central lines. Ability to monitor and manage chemotherapy administration and effects. Understanding of cardiac monitoring and emergency response protocols. Knowledge in wound care, surgical drains, and chest tube management. Why ARMStaffing?
